The Importance of Mobile Researchers

In previous posts, we’ve talked about the number of consumers making purchases on their mobile phones.  Many people also research purchases on their phones.

  • 31% of consumers researched a product with a mobile device before making an in-store purchase
  • 40% researched on mobile device before making an online purchase
  • Travel (62%) and Entertainment  (55%) were the top two researched product categories on mobile devices

What Does This Mean to You?
Again, mobile consumerism is something you cannot ignore.  Even if you haven’t embraced mobile commerce or don’t think you have a product that fits into a mcommerce model, please realize your customers are using mobile devices to research purchases.  Businesses that do not engage consumers on mobile platforms are at risk of losing potential customers.  For more information on how you can effectively and efficiently  develop a winning mobile strategy,
