Every day it feels like there is a new platform emerging that you can use to increase your awareness with potential shoppers or create loyalty with current customers. • Nearly 70% text everyday

• Roughly one-third use Twitter or You Tube

• One in four communicate using Skype everyday

• Approximately 20% use Google+, Instagram and LinkedIn

• Other platforms used are Pinterest, Myspace and SnapChat

The fact that nearly 9 in 10 consumers use Facebook on a daily basis point to just how valuable social media can be to your business. Social media gives you the ability to expand your footprint and extend your relationship with consumers. One thing to remember is that just having a Facebook page, Twitter feed or Pinterest Board doesn’t mean you are marketing your business socially.  Social networkers have become jaded, expecting consumers to find, like and share your brand socially is like hoping win the lottery without buying a ticket.  You need to create connections and offers that
